DONGLI ZHANG
Guitarist
Dongli Zhang is a former Schule Schloss Salem student and is now studying Electrical Engineering at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in Aachen (RWTH).
During his time in Salem, Dongli played rhythm guitar in Aztec Warrior's school rock band when they performed "Alright Now" by Free in the school Talent Show. The band went on to win the show with their performance that year.
After being inspired by Aztec Warrior's encouragement and dedication, Dongli continued to pursue his passion for playing guitar at university and significantly improved his playing abilities on both the acoustic and electric guitars.
Dongli is a fresh inspiration for all those young musicians out there, by showing that anything is possible if you believe in yourself and say "I can" ...
At university, he has played in the following bands :
- The Wittekind (six man rock band)
- The Three Friends (acoustic guitar trio)
- The Five Horsemen (five man rock band)
